This recently formed trio, Trillium, is a wonderful blending of local talents. Dana Christen, piano, Karen Sack, clarinet and Sherry Hanson, viola, began playing together in the fall of 2009 for a performance of the Chamber Players of the Redwoods at the Morris Graves Museum. They are all active performers locally. Sherry and Karen both play in the Eureka Symphony and Dana accompanies for many groups such as the Ferndale Community Choir and the Six Rivers Choral Artists.

For this evening's concert they will be performing some of the major works written for this type of trio (clarinet, viola and piano) by Mozart, Schumann, Bruch & Reinecke as well as other works for viola and piano and for clarinet and piano.

Concert time is 8:00 p.m. at the Fortuna Monday Club, 610 Main Street in Fortuna
Tickets for Opening Night Gala $12 all seats.
