Our season’s Opening Gala features the Treble Making Nuns, four frolicking
"sisters" who are "kicking the habit" to bring you an evening of humorous antics coupled with their fabulous harmonic song delivery.
Compost Mountain BoysOld-time bluegrass style in a variety of vocal and instrumental songs. A little boot stomping is permitted.

Jonathan Souza andThe Souzas will present a selection of moments from musical theater. Jonathan (tenor) and Christina (soprano) have delighted Concert Series audiences before and we happily welcome them back.
Eureka Dixieland All-StarsThe Eureka Dixieland All-Stars will liven the Fortuna Concert stage with some jazzy old favorites and maybe some jazzy surprises. The band is made up of familiar faces around Humboldt County. They are: Michael McClimon (cornet), Jeremy Cotton (clarinet), George Epperson (trombone), Jim Piehl (banjo), Fred Tempas (tuba) and Mike Meyers (drums).
An association of chamber music players, all from Humboldt County. These groups have been providing a wonderful variety of chamber music at venues throughout the county. Three separate groups will perform.
Randy PorterAn Oregon resident but former student at HSU where he received his classical training and musical inspiration. Porter is a jazz pianist acclaimed by The Oregonian as
"…a knowledgeable, inventive and sophisticated player with a remarkable sense of time and gorgeous keyboard facility…"
Sima Piano TrioConnected by their Armenian heritage, the members of this New York based ensemble are praised for their "powerful" and "heartfelt" interpretations of classical and ethnic repertoire.
TrilliumLocal recently formed trio, Trillium, is a wonderful blending of the talents of Dana Christen (piano), Sherry Hanson (viola) and Karen Sack (clarinet). They will present a variety of chamber music from Mozart to contemporary.
