In the fall of 2001, Nancy Correll and Annette Gurnée-Hull created PianoVoce, a group that performs art songs and piano duets. In 2009 Annette and Nancy were invited to be performers in the duo piano conference, Musique á Beaumont, in France.

For their 2010 program Nancy and Annette have included music that they’ve always wanted to play, finding a common thread—inner voices. Like a subordinate viola (or alto) part suddenly taking the initiative, they dance around the melody, slip almost unnoticed into the harmony, pop out, overlap each other, play together in countless ways.

The pair are joined by Kevin Sharkey (tenor voice), Sue Mullen (soprano voice), Virginia Ryder (clarinet and English horn) and Richard Duning as narrator. You can look forward to an evening of unexpected voices which will surprise, delight and charm.

Concert time is 8:00 p.m. at the Fortuna Monday Club, 610 Main Street in Fortuna. Ticket prices are $8.00 General Admission and $6.00 Students and Seniors.
