Humboldt Time

The members of Humboldt Time will present an evening of traditional jazz played by some of Humboldt County's finest musicians.

With more than 150 years of combined playing experience, this group embodies the art of ensemble playing combined with exceptional soloing. Jimmy Durchslag, trombone; Sam Maez, trumpet; Randy Ruland, vocals; Jim Wilde, guitar; Randy Strom, touch-style bass guitar; and Michael Curran, drums, have been performing together for the last three years.

At this concert they will feature material by John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery, Freddie Hubbard, Charlie Parker, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and Luis Bonfa, as well as music from their first CD, "Flowin' with da Kats", produced by singer Randy Ruland.
